Spicy Filled Brinjal (Masalay Bhary Bengan) Recipe

 Hi Foodies,

I hope you're all enjoying your good health and are save from Covid-19. Today I have decided to share the recipe of Masala Brinjal which is spicy and tangy in taste. Lets start the recipe.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 Kg Small Size Brinjal (Bengan)
  2. 250 Gram Fresh Tomatoes (1 Pao)
  3. 1/2 Cup Cooking Oil
  4. 1 Cup Water
  5. 14-15 Cloves of Garlic
  6. 2 Tablespoon Red Chilli Powder (or according to taste)
  7. 4 Tablespoon Dry Pomegranate Seeds (Anardana)
  8. 1 Tablespoon Salt (or according to taste)
  9. 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  10. 2 Tablespoon Coriander Powder

Method:

First of all you need to crush the spicy in Pestle and Mortar (Langri) until crushed slightly. Now add garlic cloves and crush them also. Now add tomatoes 1 by 1 and crush them with spices. To avoid the splashes due to tomato juice, drain the juice in a pot (for later use) After all the tomatoes are crushed well and mix in the spices, set them aside.

Now clean the brinjals (bengan) and cut their heads, if you don't want the upper portion of it. Now make 3 to 4 cuts in the brinjal so that you can fill the tomato mixture in them. After all the brinjals are filled, take a vessel and put the brinjals in it and pour the oil on them, add the tomato juice (which we have put in the pot before) and water. The flame will be low while cooking this for half hour.

I hope you would like this recipe and give me your feedback and if you want any recipe you can ask in comment section. ALLAH HAFIZ. 👩
